The best kind of beauty tips are usually the natural ones. Not only does drinking tea have a ton of beauty and health benefits, it can also be used in your beauty routine with a few hacks!
Green Tea:
For Face: Green tea is ideal for oily skin (aka me). It reduces excess oils and helps get rid of black heads. It contains powerful antioxidants that can reduce damage caused by UV.
What you need:
Mix moistened green tea leaves (just cut open a green tea bag) with honey to form a paste. Use a fan brush to coat your entire face with mixture. Let sit for about 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. This can be used for both a full-face mask or a spot treatment.
Chamomile Tea:
For Hair: When spritzed in your hair, chamomile tea can naturally lighten your hair and bring out subtle highlights.
What you need:
- Hot water
- 3-4 chamomile tea bags
- Spray bottle
Heat a cup of water and insert tea bags. Let it sit for about 20 minutes to allow all of the tea to infuse and liquid to cool. Put the tea in a spray bottle and sprits throughout your hair.
Not only can Chamomile tea be used for your hair, but it is perfect for all skin types too. Some benefits include calming the skin, reducing redness, balancing the skins oil, and can minimizing acne.
Peppermint Tea:
For Eyes: When used as an eye mask, peppermint tea can get rid of your puffy under eye circles.
What you need:
- Water
- Two peppermint tea bags
- Ice bath or refrigerator
All you need to do is make your tea as usual and keep the tea bags afterwards. Put the tea bags in the refrigerator or an ice bath to chill. When chilled, lay down, relax, and place the tea bags over your eyes! Keep on for about 10-15 minutes.
With three simple additions to your weekly routine, you can look naturally flawless for almost nothing!
