We’ve all experienced the hardship that is denim shopping. With a difficulty level giving swimsuit shopping a run for its money, finding the perfect pair of denim can feel nearly impossible. The ordeal becomes even harder when you take into account the fact that in the last five years denim has basically gone around the trend wheel 10 times over and some styles just aren’t right for everyone. While I’d like to make this easy and say to always pick what’s right for you, sometimes following trends is just too hard to pass up on. (I personally am still attempting to pull off denim overalls despite countless failures.)
With each new season comes about five or six new denim styles to pick and choose from. While the process will never be an easy one, I’ll do my very best to ease the pain of denim shopping and simplify one of life’s greatest hardships in one fell swoop. Here’s an straight-shot guide to this season’s best and brightest denim.
