Hi there, I’m back and my name is Leyan! This is my second term being a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. I really enjoy this opportunity to share my thoughts about styles and fashion on this platform. For the past three months, I traveled a lot while exploring the variety of summer styles in different countries, like Italy, France, China and Thailand. I was extremely thrilled with some super cute outfit ideas that definitely inspired me. I’m looking forward to the coming semester to experiment with some fun ideas on fall and winter looks!
I love traveling and adventures. I was so grateful that I could travel a lot this summer while studying, going back home and having fun. Therefore, I think I kind of developed my own look book on plane. It is becoming more and more important to keep stylish no matter where you are. For traveling, your outfit needs to be comfy as well. My advice is that before you pack, you should pick a style that you always wear and you are confident to wear.
The outfit I’m presenting was what I worn for my Hong Kong trip. Considering that monochromatic style is my go to choice, I opted for a clean and simple match. White sneakers are the killer for traveling and walking around. They are also spotted during various fashion weeks by many stylish fashion bloggers. I picked a pair of black capri trousers, because the weather in Hong Kong is quite warm recently, and the temperature in the cabin can be cold. A pair of knee-length trousers should be safe. Also, black trousers like culottes are quite on-trend. For my top, I simply wore a T-shirt and covered it with a white denim jacket for the temperature reason. Last but not the least, I added a bright colored cap to make sure my outfit is not being too boring.
Hopefully, I will share more interesting fashion ideas with you in the future!
