Hello Fashionistas/os! I am so excited to be returning as a Style Guru this coming fall. I recently finished my first semester as a Style Guru this summer and had a lot of fun with it! I loved photographing different styles I saw around town and seeing how people wore different pieces.
When it comes to my own style, I like taking trends that are popular at that point and fitting them to my own taste. If I had to describe my style, I would say it is classic with a twist. I love wearing classic pieces and spicing them up with fun and bold accessories. Here I am wearing a black and white striped T-shirt with light-wash boyfriend jeans. The rips in the jeans make the outfit more casual and my black strappy gladiator heels give my outfit a spunky vibe. My gold earrings also play up the spunky side of my outfit by adding an edgy accessory. For me, making sure I am comfortable in what I am wearing is important. Once you feel comfortable and confident in your outfit, then others will be able to tell right away!
Fall is my favorite season and I can’t wait to start wearing sweaters, vests, scarves and boots again. Fall trends are so versatile so I am interested to see how students will wear different pieces around campus.
