For me, fashion is not just a passion. Fashion is my life. Fashion is what mood I’m in on a sleepy, November morning, what I have planned on a Sunday afternoon, where I’m going a week from now and a week after that. Fashion is what I crave in the dusty library while drowning in accounting and economics. Fashion is the clickity-click of my favorite boots as I run to catch the bus. Fashion is the kind words from a stranger on a not-so-special day, which in fact, make it kind of special.
As cheesy as it sounds, fashion is who I am and I am so excited to have been given the opportunity to express that in college. With interning for CollegeFashionista, being president of my university’s fashion blog, writing for the Lala and running a fashion/ beauty/ lifestyle YouTube channel with my sister, I am living the dream by working with all three of my favorite things: fashion, social media and the written word.
As far as my personal style goes, it is constantly evolving. However, I have found that I usually stick to a pretty clean cut and feminine look. Although I am a girly girl at heart, I love being adventurous with fashion by experimenting with looks and adding elements from different styles depending on the season. My style board on Pinterest holds everything from circle skirts, fur vests and peter pan collars to boho rompers, leather boots and utility jackets. I love playing with fashion but mainly try to keep a nice balance between classy and fun.
I am currently a junior at the University of Montana where I am majoring in marketing with a Digital Media certificate. When I’m not studying for accounting, scheduling posts or devouring an almond croissant, I spend my free time browsing Pinterest in my pajamas or obsessing over whether I should change my Instagram theme. I am so excited to be starting my fifth semester interning as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista and to resume style stalking Fashionistas around my campus once again.
