Hey guys! I’m so excited to return as a Style Guru intern for the fall semester. I had a blast scouting out Fashionistas/os this summer at home and I can’t wait to see what trends I find on my campus.
As sad as I am that summer is over and that my tan is fading fast, I know that the lighter my skin gets, the closer I am to the sounds and scents of fall. Not to sound like a completely cliché college girl, but I love the fall. I’m not ashamed to admit my love of pumpkin spice lattes and Bath & Body Works candles. Not only am I going to spend all my summer paychecks on caffeine and candles, but I will also spend it on all the new fall pieces.
There is nothing better than wearing oversized sweaters with leggings and combat boots. Fall trends are easy, fun and comfortable. One of the perks of going to school in the tundra (upstate New York) is that fall comes fast. Even though it’s just the start of September, the temperature is dropping fast and I’m swapping out my sandals for booties and my shorts for leggings. I’m making a personal goal with my style to try and incorporate more colors and not just stick with the neutrals. I love the warm colors this season brings and definitely want to get inspiration from those around me rather than just reaching for gray every day. I can’t wait to start this semester and find all the amazing Fashionistas/os!
