Hello fellow Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Renee and I am so excited to finally be a junior at Loyola University Chicago! One of my greatest passions is writing, so I am declared as a double major in English and Communication Studies. This is my second time interning for CollegeFashionista and I learned so much during my time as a Style Guru over the summer. I cannot wait to bring refreshing fall fashion to each of my articles!
One of my favorite things about fashion is that it always changes. No single fashion trend is ever the same, and that is what draws me to fashion so much. It not only updates every year, but it also updates every month, week and day. It is so much fun being able to play with new styles and colors, and that is what keeps me coming back to fashion every single time.
Of course, it helps to have officially been an associate for over a year with White House Black Market. Working for White House Black Market has truly helped me appreciate fashion a little better than I used to. It is a pleasure to create outfits for customers who end up falling in love with it! It is amazing what one article of clothing can do to someone’s life.
Living in Chicago as a college student for about two years has also helped develop my fashion sense, because no single person on Loyola’s campus has the same style. Everyone is different, and everyone has their own look to bring to the table. Having the privilege to witness that is one I will never take for granted.
Fall has finally approached, and I cannot be more excited. Some of my favorite looks come from fall fashion: jeans, sweaters, scarves and boots; you name it, and I love it! Fall also means back to school, which is the perfect time to show off some style to everyone on campus. I thought I would display some of my fall favorites here: dark washed distressed jeans, a beige long sleeve top, a cute patterned scarf and some adorable tan booties. I didn’t forget to add some fun shades for the gorgeous sun! I feel that each of these pieces contribute to the essence of fall in their own fashionable way.
Again, I am beyond thrilled to be returning as your personal stylist for the fall on behalf of CollegeFashionista, and to bring each of you a little taste of fall each month!
