Hello there, Fashionistas and Fashionistos! Let me begin by introducing myself, I’m Sarah and I’m a first-year law student at Touro Law Center. I am in their inaugural two-year JD program, which is quite an exciting program! Before entering law school I received a BA in English and an MBA. I try to be well-rounded in my education as well as with my fashion choices.
I plan to work in fashion law upon receiving my JD. That area of law excites and interests me. All my friends have said it’s where I belong. If the stiletto fits, right? Fashion has always been a huge part of my life, ever since I was a little girl. I loved dressing up in any and everything and putting together crazy outfits. People still tell me that I’m a little outrageous because of my bright red hair. What can I say? I love setting myself apart from the crowd.
I carry this into my fashion choices, as well as my hair choices. I march to the beat of a different design aesthetic. I don’t normally dress “on-trend”, though occasionally you’ll catch me in something of the moment. My style evolves with each season (and seasons past) and I’m never afraid to take fashion risks. Here I’m wearing some stand out pieces that I love to mix and match. My top is a hot pink lace tank top with peplum and tail. It’s a take on the tuxedo, but in a totally fashion-forward, flirty way. I’ve paired this bright top with some skinny jeans in a dark rinse that I’ve cuffed. I’m a short girl, so cuffing my jeans is functional and stylish. I love mixing patterns, so I’ve put my leopard print pumps to good use. And lastly, the accessory I never go anywhere without, my sunglasses. These have a gorgeous gold filigree detail on the arms. I can’t do without my sunglasses! This outfit is cool, chic and bold.
I’m excited to start this Fashionista journey and to share my campus styles with everyone!
