Happy fall, Fashionista/o’s. Just like me, I’m sure you are all super excited to return to college this semester. We now can finally open up our fall closets and find accessories that have been collecting dust in storage during the summer. Fall is my favorite time of the year because there are just so many fashion options! After an incredible summer being a Style Guru, I am more than ready to showcase old and new fashion trends for my second semester working for CollegeFashionista.
This year I am a sophomore at Marist College studying Fashion Merchandising with a concentration in Fashion Promotion. I transferred to Marist College last semester in the winter, so I have never experienced fall semester at our beautiful campus on the Hudson River, but am very excited to experience whatever this year throws my way! Fashion is the only subject I have ever truly been interested in studying. Picking out the perfect outfit is my favorite way to express myself and I believe fashion truly is an art form. In my monthly articles this semester I hope to capture some exciting new trends and share interesting and creative looks.
Even though I am ready for fall fashion, the weather has not caught up yet, so in this look I am wearing one of my favorite transitional outfits. A maxi skirt is one of the best ways to move from summer and into fall. It is so versatile and goes with just about anything. Recently I have been seeing layered necklaces everywhere and this kind of jewelry is sure to continue to remain a popular trend.  Layering your favorite bralettes and tank tops are a perfect combo until fall weather comes. These are just a couple of trends that I will be rocking around campus this fall. I can’t wait to incorporate new fashions and fun ways to make the most out of your what is already your closet into my articles on the first of every month this semester!
