What’s up Fashionistas? My name is Sara Masur, and I am excited to start my second semester as a Style Guru. I am currently a senior at Ohio University studying Retail Merchandising and Communication Studies. I can’t wait to share the fall looks trending on OU’s campus through my internship with CollegeFashionista!
Through my 21 years, I have found an interest in fashion and developed my own style. I have had an amazing experience at school studying retail and learning more about what interests me in the industry. I have found a love in trend analysis and discovering the up and coming. After I graduate, I hope to work for a fashion company as an assistant buyer. I hope to be able to use analysis and research to predict trends for the future. I enjoy keeping up with trends and learning about new merchandise, so I think this is the perfect position for me!
I would describe my personal style as a mix between edgy and bohemian. As you can see in my photos, I love very neutral colors and fabrics. My favorite outfits usually include an oversized graphic T-shirt, high-wasted jeans, fringe, Aztec patterns, leather, military-inspired jackets and Converse. I’m always looking for bold accessories to finish off my look. I think my style really speaks for my personality and shows that I’m not afraid to try something new.
I have really enjoyed interning for CollegeFashionista, and I’m excited to get started with my second semester as a Style Guru. My goal for the fall is to capture the trends on my campus and give my readers new inspiration for their own collection. I also hope to pass on this internship to other Retail Merchandising majors. I look forward to a RAD semester, and I hope you enjoy my blog!
