It’s that time of year again. The leaves are changing and it’s time to say goodbye to your favorite jean shorts and crop tops. For my fellow college students this also means it is time to buckle down for midterms, but don’t stress because fall break is right around the corner. This is an exciting time for those who are able to go home and see their families, visit friends at other colleges or even fit in a quick getaway! No matter where you’re heading this fall break, I’m sure there’s an exciting trip ahead of you. We all know that traveling can be long, exhausting and that it can be hard to look chic on the road when all you really want to wear is your favorite oversized sweatshirt and yoga pants. Not all of us can look fresh and fashionable like celebrities do when they hop off a plane or their tour bus. However, this Fashionista makes traveling trendy and comfortable.
This Fashionista moved around a lot as a child before she and her family settled down in the Golden State, so when it comes to travel fashion she is your go-to girl. She brought her west coast California style to St. Joe’s campus and rocked the ultimate travel outfit. She paired her loose Repetto dance jogger pants with a comfy pair of stylish Nike sneakers. These joggers are great because they take the place of those comfy sweatpants that aren’t fashionably acceptable to wear in public. She then matched them with a loose fitting white T-shirt. When traveling you never know what the temperature may be like, so this Fashionista never forgets her casual woven scarf. This scarf is great because she can wrap it around her body if she gets cold or throw it in her sleek tote if she gets warm. Big enough to fit snacks, magazines and other necessities, this black leather Coach tote is perfect for traveling. She made her tote unique by clipping on a funky keychain that has her name engraved on it. Super cute, right?
When traveling you want to keep your accessories to a minimum, especially if you need to walk through security in the airport. To keep it simple, she only wore her Tiffany & Co. Bean Pendant necklace and classic stud earrings. As seen above, she is sporting her favorite pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses like the celebs wear when they travel. Just like Kendall Jenner you never know what paparazzi may be waiting for you when you reach your destination, but if you follow this Fashionista’s style you’ll always be camera ready!
One Simple Change: You’ve been up since 7:00 a.m. traveling and have finally arrived at your destination. Of course you’re famished and would love to head straight to brunch. Just swap out your sneakers for a pair of heels or sandals to dress up your look and brunch on!
