Fashionistas and Fashionistos, fall may have arrived some time ago, but the weather is just now breaking! It’s almost November and the students here at Hampton University are making plenty of fashion-forward statements. From fringe jackets to suede knee-high boots, the ladies on campus are definitely styling on. It just so happens that the guys on campus stole the show this month with their tailored suits, shades of gray and long-line trench coats. But what can I say? Who doesn’t love a classic man?
This month’s Fashionisto walked into the fall season making a grand entrance! From top to bottom, he didn’t failed to disappoint. He began his outfit with a crisp and clean white button-down from ASOS and he matched it with a pair of well tailored gray chino pants from H&M. Both pieces are very simple, but it is how he accessorized that took his ensemble to the next level.
Everyone knows you can’t leave a white button-down hanging, so this Fashionisto topped it off with a floral patterned tie from Christian Dior. Its hints of green, mustard and red gave his starting gear the detail it needed to be noticed. On his tie is a gold tie clip and he strapped his look all together by wearing a black and gold belt. On his feet, he features a pair of black double-buckled shoes from ALDO.
Now the piece we’ve all been waiting for: the jacket! This jacket is a custom made charcoal grey piece from Shanghai, China. The collar and middle flaps are paisley designed and the right side of the jacket has a pocket with a flap, while the left side has a stitched pocket without the flap. The jacket is unique and speaks for itself. Featured on the jacket is a yellow flower pin for a pop of color.
To top it all off, this Fashionisto wore a gold watch from Michael Kors and a brown bracelet from Veritas with gold accents. He continued to accessorize by throwing on a pair on black shades from H&M and a black wide brim Fedora hat from a thrift store. Fashionistas and Fashionistos, now this is a classic man!
