Fall is my absolute favorite season. I love fur, dark colors and coats as well as; sweaters, boots and bold patterns. So, it’s no wonder that I instantly fell in love with the alice + olivia’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. It could best be described as sophisticated with a hint of rock ‘n’ roll. This collection takes on a ’70s vibe that is most definitely groovy. The mix of fabrics, patterns and textures seen in this collection create a symphony of style that could give any fashion enthusiast goosebumps. As a Fashionista and musician, I found inspiration in this gorgeous, eclectic collection.
This monochrome look from the collection features stripes, leather and a red lip which are all my favorite things. Each of the classic pieces seen here have their own edgy twist which gives the outfit a completely unique look. I love the way the texture of the turtleneck sweater look with the leather skirt. The model’s slick hairstyle and red lip keep the ensemble refined and classic.
Since the black and white stripes are one of my favorite details about the alice + olivia look, this was the first element I wanted to mimic in my own outfit. I paired my oversized, striped button-down from Forever 21 with leather leggings and suede booties to add texture to this easy fall look. This look is super comfortable and is perfect for a day full of meetings, errands or classes. To take this sophisticated look a step further, I added gold jewelry, my favorite red lipstick and a sleek top knot.
