I’m sure I’m not the first girl to admit it, but I am obsessed with the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. I love the sparkles, the colors and of course, those drop dead gorgeous angel wings! For years on end, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has always shown off beautiful women wearing the sexiest styles in fashion. However, one does not need to strut their stuff in lingerie and a pair of feathery wings in order to look like an everyday angel on campus.
First things first, I started with my hair and makeup. The Angels always have a natural look to them, so I kept my makeup simple, yet flirty. I am in love with Urban Decay products and mainly used them for my look. I also created some beachy waves by curling my hair and then brushing it out after adding some hairspray. This iconic beauty style was surprisingly easy to recreate and definitely made me feel like a bombshell.
Second, I chose an outfit that would compliment my makeup. When they’re not rocking their world-renowned lingerie, the Victoria’s Secret Angels are always shown in those very cute pink bathrobes, so I alluded to those robes with this blush pink sweater. It lets me stay warm in these chilly Wisconsin temperatures while being classy and girly. I paired it with my favorite black jeans, which toughens up the look a little bit.
Finally, I really focused on my accessories for this look. This hand-me-down leather jacket from my mom really made this outfit a bit more edgier. Considering that the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show typically focuses on so many different types of textures, I thought the combination of the leather jacket and the sweater would be a nice pairing. The Angels also always have killer shoes to go with their lingerie, so I picked out some of my favorite Vince Camuto caged heels. These shoes are oh-so sexy, are easy to walk across campus in and definitely make any outfit look like it’s fresh off the runway. And finally, the show and its models are always covered in diamonds. Therefore, I wore my favorite glamorous and sparkly necklace, bracelets and rings. These little touches definitely make the look more Angel-esque and like you’re ready to take on the Victoria’s Secret runway and the world!
