Being a full time college student can get pretty hectic. You’re constantly balancing classes, homework, time with friends and hitting the gym. Making time for every part of your life can leave you super stressed out. Thankfully one fashion trend is making the balance between school and work even easier. So many models including Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are starting to combine their sportswear and daywear. Not only does my inspiration come from these two, but also by Tommy Hilfiger’s sporty runway looks who are really rocking the trend. Workout clothes are not strictly for workouts anymore. They can be just as stylish as anything else! Combining pieces from your regular closet and your workout drawer can give you even more style choices. Not to mention you’ll be super comfortable all day long.
If you’re planning on hitting the gym after class or even before, you’re going to want an outfit that is super versatile. I started off with a pair of basic black legging-style yoga pants. If you want to get a little more creative, wear ones with a fun print, it’s totally up to you. I paired that with a soft cotton tank, which will keep me cool at the gym and is a great buildable basic. To really amp up my outfit, I added my favorite fall jacket. This helps the transition from strictly gym attire to class appropriate. These sneakers are great and keep my feet comfortable while walking around campus and training hard at the gym. I added a necklace and earrings to dress it up even more. Transitioning your gym clothes to class wear is super simple. It can save you time and effort and keep you feeling and looking great no matter what you’re doing!
