STYLE GURU STYLE: “I Don't Pop M*lly, I Rock Tom Ford”

This is what I call fall. The time of year when Fashionista/os really have their time to shine. Among those shiners is myself, frolicking around in my furs as the temperature drops and my stress level rises. There is something about fur that gives me a certain amount of confidence. This fur specifically is my favorite. Ombré? Amazing. I was inspired by the Tom Ford fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. In look 18, the model sported an all-black ensemble with a unique piece, a black, gray and white ombré coat. This look is straight to the point: chic.

Instead of pairing my faux fur with all black, I decided to throw on a teal bodycon dress for a pop of color. I am usually all about neutrals for the fall, but something about this vest makes me want to be a dare devil and change it up.

Fashion is all about trying new things. If you usually try one type of style, switch it up for at least one day out of the week. One thing that stays consistent throughout my fall fashion is faux fur. I have just about every color faux fur you can think of. Faux fur can be paired with anything and it can be on anything. Don’t limit yourself to only buying faux fur in a vest or coat form. There are shoes with faux fur, cardigans and even scarves.

My Steve Madden booties are definitely my favorite shoe for the fall. Booties in general are the best shoe for fall because they are comfortable and extremely stylish. When the temperature drops a little more, it will be time for me to bring out my over-the-knee boots, another staple for the fall.

Don’t forget to incorporate faux fur into at least one of your ensembles this fall/winter season. Faux fur can turn a simple outfit into a confidence killing, stylish outfit.
