Lately while doing some online shopping, I’ve been seeing a lot of lace-up flats. Growing up I remember everyone having all different kinds of flats, they were the perfect essential for anything I had to do. They were perfect for the time of year when it was too cold to wear flip flops but too hot to wear boots. But, looking back they weren’t all they were cracked up to be. Recently though, there has been a shift in what the typical ballet flat is. Some are pointed toe or have some type of detail cut out on them. But so far I think that the lace-up flats are my favorite. They are trendy, edgy and elegant all at the same time. Pair it with any outfit and you can completely transform your outfit!
