Moschino’s wacky, crazy style and the way the label designs clothing has always had my heart, but this season’s runway show really caught my eye. I absolutely love wearing all-black and dark colors, but pink will always be my favorite color to try and put an outfit together with. Jeremy Scott’s Moschino brilliantly put together a show for the spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection. It specifically focused on the image of a Barbie doll; models were outfitted in platinum blond wigs and wore pink from head to toe. So of course, my inner child came out when seeing these looks.
Wearing all-pink is a very bold statement, and for someone who is used to wearing dark colors, like me, it can be very hard to try and recreate a “statement color” look that will not only be cute but also still feel comfortable. With the winter months slowly approaching, I wanted to wear an outfit that makes the gray sky days not so depressing. So, I thought that it would be a great idea to somehow throw a little bit of color into my look. My light pink winter jacket and booties are a perfect way try and showcase my colorful side, just like Jeremy Scott’s Moschino did when thinking pink. My pink coat and booties recreate the look in a less dramatic way; they show you how to pull off a baby pink color in your outfit while still looking chic and mature.
