Feeling powerful, comfortable and sophisticated is a hard combination, but with some simple staple items it can be a breeze. Taking inspiration from the Hermès spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection, you can spice up your everyday essentials with a pop of color.
Us Fashionistas know how hard it is to hear those words “business casual.” We love our flowy tops and wow pieces that really channel our go-to looks. But, the fact is there are always those events that call for it. So, let’s take our boring business outfits to a new level.
My chosen color is vintage yellow that is featured in the Hermès ready-to-wear fashion show. This sleek pop of color not only screams bold, but is also lets you switch up your professional attire. Paired with neutral colors and a bold lip, this jacket can provide that hint of confidence you need.
For this outfit, I chose to pair the jacket with a lace Calvin Klein short-sleeved shirt to add some texture to the mix and ripped denim skinnies from Zara. To top it off, I paired it with nude BCBG heels. To add some individuality, I added my spindle rings (rings used by people for anxiety by spinning the bands or anyone who loves the look!) and of course have a way to get rid of the nerves that go along with any business casual event. With a little help from the runway, your outfits can go a long way!
