Hi there! My name is Casey Kozieja and I am currently a sophomore at Penn State University. I am majoring in public relations and minoring in international studies and sociology. I am so excited to be a part of the CollegeFashionista team and can’t wait to share my fashion inspirations with you!
Fashion has always been my passion. (Yes, I have a passion for fashion.) For the past four years, I have been working for a boutique that sells all the best brands for a fashionista like Free People, MinkPink and Wildfox. Throughout my experience in retail, I’ve had the opportunity to focus on current trends and work them into my personal style. My dream is to work in the fashion industry doing public relations.
Style is a visual expression of my personality. My style is very eclectic with a bohemian flare. I am a very relaxed and laid back person and my style reflects that. On campus you’ll often catch me in my ripped jeans with an oversized shirt or sweater and my Dr.Martens (most likely chugging some sort of caffeine). I am not afraid to take fashion risks and love layering, which is a must during winter in Happy Valley.
Designers like Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior and Coco Chanel all displayed their creativity through their work. Everything they have done is art and it inspires me daily. These designers are always pushing the boundaries. Through their fashion risks, my confidence to step outside of the box in fashion is never in question.
