Hello my fashion lovers!
Welcome to my CollegeFashionista column! My name is Bruna Tarabillo, and words cannot describe how excited and thankful I am to join the CollegeFashionista team as a first-time Style Guru. I am going into my second year at the University of South Florida with a major in communications focusing on media and culture. Interning for CollegeFashionista is one of the best opportunities I have gotten in my college carrier.
I was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and moved to the states at the age of 15. I originally first moved to Virginia, however I decided to expand my horizons and move to Tampa at the age of 20. I began to submerge in the waters of fashion when I purchased my first Vogue magazine at the age of 13. Something about the colors, glamour and high fashion caught my attention. Ever since then I have always been passionate about fashion and its trends!
I love all trends, however some trends will always be my ultimate favorites. For instance, ’60s vintage Chanel style or Levi’s casual denim style back in the ’90s. I personally like natural colors, like gray, white, beige and black. Even though some people may say black is not a color, well black is my favorite color to wear. Sometimes, I even wear all-black and just add some gold jewelry to spark up the outfit.
I am thrilled to see what this spring semester will bring and to be writing about the newest trends and give everyone helpful tips on finding your true style!
