Hi! I’m Shelby Wilson, a junior at Ohio University majoring in communications studies and minoring in retail management and fashion product development. I have always had an eye for fashion and am excited to share my style and inspiration with all of you.
I like to keep my wardrobe really neutral, but I always leave room for a handful of more on-trend statement pieces. When picking out my clothes, I tend to gravitate towards street style with an occasional Parisian twist. I have worked hard to create my own personal style but am always finding new inspiration from the people and places around me. On a typical day, you can find me in something comfortable and casual, but I won’t hesitate to throw on some lipstick and a pair of heels.
My style has always been my main form of self expression and I love being able to give others a taste of who I am before they get to know me. Coco Chanel was spot on when she said, “dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.” When creating your own look, I think it is really important to consider what looks good on your body and, most importantly, what you are comfortable and confident in, rather than what is “in style.”
