Hello fellow Fashionistas/os! My name is Catherine Brackett, you may have met me before seeing as this is my third semester writing for CollegeFashionista. I’m one of CollegeFashionista’s University of Nebraska at Lincoln Style Gurus and I’m so happy to be back on board!
I’ve been passionate about fashion really ever since I can remember, just like every other little girl. To pursue fashion as a career never occurred to me until my freshman year of college. Now it seems like second nature, I feel like I’m exactly where I should be.
Although fashion is one of my top priorities, I also have other passions. I recently found a love of scuba diving last year and started an annual trip to Key Largo, Florida to dive! I’ll be going back this spring break and couldn’t be more thrilled.
I also love to cook, although I’m not the best at it. I have my good days. One of my favorite things to make is eggplant parmesan: the ultimate comfort food.
These other passions are pretty difficult to tie into fashion. I mean, you do need a cute apron to heat the kitchen up with, right? Right.
Anyway, the point is I have a passion for fashion and I don’t think that’ll be changing anytime soon. Here’s to a great spring semester!
