Hey there, Fashionistas/os!
Even as I count down the number of days until graduation (148 to be exact), I hope time stands still as I report for my second and last semester here at CollegeFashionista. As a current MBA student and part time employee of the college, I spend most of my days learning business accounting and financial systems and boy can it be tough! Luckily through CollegeFashionista I can pursue my one true love and prepare for a career upon graduation (fingers crossed, of course)!
I am also totally stoked to announce my first semester as a Social Media Intern. Follow me on Instagram at @allyrohmann for a behind the scenes look into my life. Spoiler alert: My spring itinerary includes a trip to Paris and the search for the best bakery in Providence. Cue photos of donuts, lattes and cinnamon rolls.
I love the idea that picking out your outfit in the morning allows you to choose who you want to be that day. Do I want to be the carefree girl next door? The edgy and fearless artist? The powerful, boardroom-conquering businesswoman?
Today’s outfit emulates the hopeless romantic who’s head over heels for sunflowers and vintage records. I worked a short stint in retail at the Providence Free People after longingly following the company for years. I was able to connect with my co-workers on many levels; whether it was music, movies, home décor or fashion. Although I don’t live my life entirely in this aesthetic, when I do, I hope my vibes rub off on those around me.
P.S: This outfit includes a lace dress, slip and choker from Free People, frilly knee-highs and my everyday Zara boots.
