Hi there, welcome to Fashionistas and Fashionistos! I am back once again to continue to write for the fabulous CollegeFashionista site. Let me introduce myself, my name is Caroline Dilone and this is my fourth semester as a Style Guru and I couldn’t be more happy to return for another semester.
A lot has changed since my first year as freshman. I’ve interned for the jewelry company  Maison Miru  as a social media and marketing intern and I’ve recently was a editorial intern for CountryLiving.com. I know that I still have much to learn, so please follow along my journey as I walk around New York City to uncover all of you Fashionistas/os! I know that inside each and everyone of you there’s a Fashionista/o. So, don’t be afraid to let them shine through.
Fashion in the winter season is quite a ride. I love cold weather because I get to be warm and cozy with bulky sweaters and coats. I can drink hot chocolate with marshmallows, ice skate and watch snow fall, ah the magic! I love my houndstooth coat because it stands out from all of my black coats. I paired the coat with a navy blue comfy turtleneck that keeps me warm, a blue floral necklace and high-waisted jeans.
Fashion plays a huge role in our society and I find it so beautiful how it’s presented in different cultures. Fashion is art and history all in one. Inspiration comes from all different directions, literature, architecture or even a painting. Fashion is full of possibilities and it changes everyday and I can’t wait to discover the stories behind all of your outfits. Stay tuned on my journey as I take the streets of New York City.
