Hello, fashion lovers! I am thrilled to be back for my second semester as a style guru for CollegeFashionista. My name is Elisa Cherry, and I am a freshman at Montana State University. I am majoring in international relations, although I have embraced the fact that I don’t know what I want to pursue in my life. However, I know this: I love fashion, I love styling and I love expressing myself through my style. I have learned so much about myself in my first semester of school, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds. I just take everything one day at a time, and keep an open mind to everything.
My style is continually evolving, but it always revolves around basic, simple and neutral pieces. I am inspired by the looks of street-style bloggers and off-duty models. I strive to find the balance between elegant, minimalist and put-together. I would describe my style as feminine with a  bit of edge. I am not afraid to take risks which often times leads to some weird looks in the small towns of Montana but, in all honesty, my heart belongs on the streets of New York.
The outfit that I am wearing is one of my favorites for the winter season. I live for cozy sweaters as there is snow on the ground until late April. My favorite new trend is the midi skirt which goes well with turtleneck sweaters, and any type of ankle bootie.
I can’t wait to see where this semester takes me, and I especially can’t wait to continue my journey as a Style Guru. Let’s make this semester #RAD!
