Hey there, Fashionistas and Fashionistos! It’s time to begin another RAD semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. I’m incredibly excited to begin the spring semester for my third time as part of the CollegeFashionista team, although right now there is something I’m even more excited for…the holidays, of course! The holiday season truly is the most wonderful time of the year with family, friends and food, although the best part is holiday parties and New Year’s Eve fashion.
This past weekend has been filed with holiday activities for me, such as holiday parties with the family, a gift exchange and of course a trip to the Big Apple to check out the tree at Rockefeller Center. I saw some great winter fashion when ice skating in Bryant Park, however I did worry about falling and ruining my awesome new gloves.
This month at home is going to be a real culture shock; being back in New Jersey is great, but I’ll miss the bustling life of my college campus at the University of Maryland in no time.
I look forward to showcasing some amazing winter and spring style as we see what the new semester of fashion holds for us. Some of my favorite pieces include leather jackets, blanket scarves, chunky sweaters and ankle booties. My closet would be incomplete without these items and I’ll be continuing to look for fresh new trends in my daily life.
I’ll be back at work for the break and my discount will only mean more shoes in my closet at school.
Let’s have a RAD semester!
