Although the Midwest is best and will always have my heart after growing up in Carmel, Indiana, two years ago I chose to get a fresh start. In order to do this, I moved 1,149 miles away to West Palm Beach, Florida where I attend Palm Beach Atlantic University. I am studying Cross Cultural Studies and Business Administration (and also the beach).
When I am not doing schoolwork or hanging out with friends, I am most likely fangirling over One Direction. Becoming a fan of One Direction has been one of the best things in my life, as I have made so many friends through them, and they truly do inspire me in so many ways. Some things I am passionate about include my faith, healthy living, One Direction (but you already knew that), travel and fashion. I have traveled to over 15 countries, and I do not plan on stopping anytime soon. Travel has definitely become one of my main fashion inspirations. I love seeing what men and women all over the world wear, and then finding ways to incorporate those different trends into my wardrobe. I have so many different dreams for what I want my life to look like, and some of those dreams include traveling or maybe even living overseas for a period of time. I have big dreams of making it big in cities like New York City, Chicago or Los Angeles; I love the hustle and bustle of city life. Wherever life takes me, I know that I will always take my love for fashion along for the ride.
I would describe myself as a minimalist when it comes to my personal style. I love finding simple, neutral pieces that can be versatile and incorporated into many different outfits. I would say almost all of my wardrobe, or what I actually wear from my wardrobe, is black. I cannot get enough of the black on black look these days. My favorite store is Madewell, so you can almost always find me wearing those simple gold bracelets that go with any outfit. I also love to sport a heel every once in awhile, and I absolutely love my heels from Gap; they are the perfect shoe to dress up any outfit. Another part of my outfit that I want to highlight is the detail on the top of my pants; I love the ruffle, and I think it helps make the outfit unique.
