Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Molly Duncan and I am a sophomore studying Marketing and Criminal Justice at Georgia College and State University. I am a Southern girl, born and raised in Georgia. Words cannot even begin to describe how excited I am about my internship with CollegeFashionista this semester! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to explore my fellow Fashionistas’ creative and original ideas!
Ever since I was young, I have always had a love for fashion. At the age of 13, this love quickly grew into a passion when I stumbled upon the countless style publications and blogs available on the Internet. This discovery aided me in shaping my own personal style, which helped to create my own personal style. I strive to be the girl who is willing to take chances with my fashion choices. I believe that if you do not take chances and create your own look, then you are not staying true to yourself.
Along with my passion for fashion, I also have an appreciation for makeup. I am always willing to try different makeup looks. Sometimes I find myself spending countless hours on YouTube watching makeup tutorials. Oops! I feel that an outfit is not complete without the right makeup to match the look.
My personal look can be described as modern elegance with a bit of southern chic. Some of my favorite places to shop are francesca’s, Charming Charlie’s, Tory Burch and Michael Kors, but I always enjoy a good bargain. When I am able to find the best deals on the latest trends, it makes my outfit even more meaningful. This makes me feel so empowered, which helps make the whole fashion experience worthwhile.
I think it is insane how styles are always changing. Sometimes when I look back at old pictures, I cannot help but laugh at myself because of the stuff that I use to wear. However, I believe that is what makes the fashion world so fun and because of this, it makes me appreciate fashion even more. People do not realize the fashion world is constantly changing, which makes it even more interesting.
