I’m Samantha, but you can call me Sammy. I am an artist, dancer, actress, singer and Fashionista. I love to do anything that gives me an opportunity to be creative and put my twist on things! Coming from a small town in south Jersey you would think I love the calm suburban life, but actually I am a traveler at heart. One of my biggest passions is to travel to new places. When I visit a new place, I can’t help falling in love with their way of life. Every place has different sayings, styles and atmospheres that you can’t help but be influenced by them. So far I have been to 15 states and four countries, but I don’t plan on stopping there. One of my favorite things to notice in all these places is their style. Each place inspires me to pick up a new fashion trend or look at style in a different way. So, I guess you can say I’m a melting pot of fashion. One day I could be wearing a favorite band T-shirt with a beanie; however, another day I could be wearing something with more of a hippie vibe, like a loose floral dress and a headband.
Needless to say, I like to try different things and be inspired by different people. That is why I love being a Style Guru at CollegeFashionista. I started out as a Style Guru during this past summer, and I was so inspired by the Fashionistas I ran into that it made my love for fashion and photography grow even more. There is something about being behind the lens that really makes you look at the world in a different way and appreciate it more.
