While I don’t see myself committing to a pair of leather pants anytime soon, I can never turn down the chance to incorporate leather into my looks. Leather has been a hot commodity lately on the runway and on the streets! It is no longer only a look for girl’s night out. Incorporating leather patchworks into every day outfits can add a little variety to those comfy go-to looks we all love.
One of my favorite outfits for any occasion consists of army green colored pants, an oversized sweater and black booties. Taking inspiration from Marc Jacobs fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection, I revamped this outfit with a leather kick. I love the small hints of leather that are present throughout the collection. Many of the pieces are simple enough in the way that the looks can be recreated using basic articles of clothing that are innate to the college fashionista’s closet, and finished off with a fresh piece that incorporates leather.
I paired my army green pants with a unique sweater that has leather patches on the shoulders. The sweater has a mix of different colors that all play off and work nicely with the green in the pants. I paired the look with black leather booties that tie in with the leather patches on the shoulders of the sweater. This incorporates the leather accents from head to toe of this look. I finished off with a pink lipstick topped with a sparkly gloss! With this outfit I feel ready for anything! Whether it is for class or a fun night with friends, This outfit will leave you feeling confident and chic!
