It’s that time of year again, after all the fun of Halloween and Homecoming, before you know it winter starts to blow in. I can just picture it now: the shivers and Jack Frost nibbling at your ears and nose while on your journey to class. The time to bundle up under scarfs and gloves and snow boots. I’m personally not the biggest fan when it comes to the cold, dark long season that is winter, but this winter is different. With temperatures rising instead of falling, there are a few key items that you can still get away with before the snow piles up and the temperatures go below zero.
This Fashionista here decided to dress up the simple sweater look with a tribal-looking, ivory necklace and a fun quilted, plaid vest. She also keeps the sweater and even her boots a darker color so the statement necklace she has can pop out against it. These vests are something easy to put on when the weather is in the in between stage of not too hot but not freezing cold either. Boots this time of the year are always a must and this Fashionista rocks these suede brown boots with this outfit! She also adds some fun jewelry to her wrist with some Alex and Ani bracelets.
One Simple Change: On your way to class? An easy way to take this look to class is just swap out the plaid vest for a sleeveless open cardigan. You can be the most stylish Fashionista in class!
