This winter is not all about the ladies; let’s hear it for the boys (FTB)! To keep your hair fresh throughout the cold months, ask for a slight undercut this season. This look requires timely trims, but it’s a versatile hairstyle that is easy to manage.
To top off his fresh new ‘do, this Fashionisto paired a casual blazer with a classic white T-shirt, which gives the effect of being classy and not too formal. To finish off the look, he opted for straight slim-cut leg jeans to accommodate his tall frame. Finally, he added Sperry Top-Siders to complete the look from head to toe.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To achieve this mild undercut style, this Fashionisto used Aquage transforming paste. This paste is supposedly “a dream for guys with thick hair.” This particular style requires freshly toweled dry hair. After towel drying, take a regular comb and start with the part. You want the part to be between the arch and the end of the natural brow line. Next, take a quarter size amount of paste and rub it evenly on the palms and finger tips. To evenly distribute the product, run your fingers from the part line to emphasize the part. Then, repeatedly use your fingertips to slick back the hair from the front to the back. With the excess paste you have left, you can make sure the sides of the hair are free of any fly aways. To finish, take the comb and go over the emphasized part. To finally set in the shape, comb hair from back to front. Let the product set for a few minutes, and use a smaller amount once more to finalize the look or touch up throughout the day!
