Our fall seems to have led straight into winter. Cool weather never turned really cold (with the exception of a few days). Of course, I would love to see it snow but this weather just means we all get to wear our fall wardrobes a little bit longer!
Our Fashionista is doing just that and throwing on a few accessories to add a winter appeal.
She bases her outfit around her blue and white striped bodycon dress. This basic could be worn during any season, but it’s what our Fashionista adds to her outfit that makes it perfect for this fall/winter weather we are experiencing. She adds a navy jacket, which coordinates perfectly with her dress, to keep warm. My personal favorite part of the Fashionista’s outfit is her lovely scarf. The scarf looks to be a jersey knit with one side brushed, making it extra soft. It is also an impeccable neutral color so that it can be worn with many different winter looks. On a side note, this Fashionista shares that she has over 50 scarves to keep her warm!
Finally, our Fashionista ends her outfit with a pair of brown riding boots. She really shows her tolerance to cold weather by deciding to go bare-legged between the end of her dress and the beginning of her boots!
One Simple Change: Take this look from winter wear to weekend wear with a couple of easy steps: 1.) Ditch the brown riding boots for a pair of black thigh-highs. 2.) Swap the navy jacket out for a leather one. Be sure to keep the scarf for its warmth! If you’re not as tolerant to the cold as our Fashionista, don’t be afraid to throw on a pair of tights!
