It’s a new year! It’s time for new beginnings, new fashion trends and more memories to be made this year.
Winter is still upon us, but I have been having great warm weather this winter, and I’m taking full advantage of it. During the winter months, I like outfits that can be used for any occasion, whether I’m out and about around town or home lounging around the fire place at home. Acne Studios pre-fall 2016 collection stood out to me because the designer stuck to simple colors from chocolate browns and blacks to light gray and rich caramel colors. I love how this designer paired in parts of the collection’s simple pieces to make elegant outfits that look comfortable to wear.
This designer’s collection has inspired my look. When I saw this collection, I knew immediately what pieces in my closet would complement the looks seen on the runway. I used Acne Studios color scheme with neutral colors, and I styled a camel color sweater from and paired it with simple black leggings. For my shoes, I wore black fringe booties that went along with the same idea as the booties worn in the Acne Studios collection. For accessories, I paired my outfit with a black Coach bag that has a beautiful pebble design on the front and back. To finish my outfit, I have Alex and Ani charm bracelets that go with the gold detail on my booties and bag.
