WHAT TO WEAR: Class

The start of this semester has brought many new things. A national championship (Roll Tide), the first surge of actually cold weather (finally), and the realization that I’m graduating college in less than a year (I’m trying to block that part out). I think everyone can relate to the anticipation of spring semester. Whether you’re graduating in May or finishing up your freshman year, it’s an exciting time. You’re not out of touch with school from last semester, but you get a whole new set of teachers, classes and fellow students to interact with.

This Fashionista caught my eye with her denim attire, but when I saw her cute graphic sweatshirt, it made me smile. It seemed to be sending out positive start-of-school vibes. What better message to send than “be nice please”? We all know a few teachers who should have read that before saying that the textbook is required and it costs over one hundred dollars. Her fun sweatshirt isn’t all there is to the look however. This Fashionista chose to pair ripped boyfriend jeans with a denim shirt, giving her an edgy urban vibe. And it’s hard to beat white adidas sneakers for walking around campus stylishly without sacrificing comfort. I like that her outfit is simple and nearly monochromatic with a fun printed message to shake it up. It’s good inspiration for day-to-day outfits and of course a reminder to be nice, please!

One Simple Change: This outfit can be taken up a notch by skipping the denim shirt and trading the sneakers for heels or booties. Add a cute bag and you’re ready to go to a weekend brunch with friends after a long week of classes.
