One of my favorite things about winter fashion is layering, and the endless possibilities that come with it. Start with a basic sweater in a neutral tone (bonus points if it’s a turtleneck) and you now have the freedom to add whatever you’d like. These frigid winter months serve as the perfect opportunity to experiment with different types of scarves, hats, mittens and any other winter staple. My daily outfit for heading to class usually consists of some type of sweater with a knit scarf, puffer vest, skinny jeans and some cute snow boots to complete the look.

Hunter boots have been increasingly popular over the past few years due to their London-chic design, impressive durability and tall socks in a fun hue keep your toes warm while adding a pop of color to an otherwise neutral outfit. Her camel, trenchcoat featured black leather panels on the arms and shoulders, adding a touch of edge while remaining in her color scheme. The plaid tote topped off the outfit perfectly and brought attention to her red, knit, boot socks.
