Winters in L.A. may be hard to dress for, it’s not quite cold enough to bundle up, but there is definitely a chill in the air. The trick here is simple, removable layers are your new best friend. Thin jackets, beanies and light scarves will get you through the season feeling cozy and looking stylish.
This Fashionista has transformed a simple legging and T-shirt combination into an edgy outfit that gives her a cool and confident kind of feel. Leggings are a staple in my closet because they are so versatile. A nice pair of black leggings can contribute to so many different outfit options that every girl should have a pair in their closet. Although this Fashionista’s leggings may look plain and simple, a close up would reveal that her leggings actually have a hint of personality since they are accented with stripes and a sheer mesh material. Don’t be afraid make some ordinary pieces in your closet stand out by playing with textures!
Going with the color scheme, this Fashionista chose a gray T-shirt with a black neckline, and topped it off with a leather jacket. The moto jacket pulls the entire outfit together, it is the essential piece that gives this Fashionista the edgy look she was going for. The jacket not only looks good, but is also the layer that will keep her warm when those winds start blowing, or when you get out of class and it’s magically nighttime already. Adding onto the outfit, this Fashionista accessorized with a cute pair of sunglasses. The black frame matches the colors she has chosen, but as a Fashionista she didn’t leave it at just that. The sunglasses features a gold bottom rim that gives her outfit a little pop of color.
With her faux leather jacket and those rocking shades, this girl can handle anything that class has to throw at her.
