I am so excited to be a Style Guru for College Fashionista this semester! I am a junior at College of DuPage, located in Illinois. Being a student is a lot of work, but I like to keep it fun by pursuing interests, like fashion, outside of my school work. I love music so much, I am constantly looking for new bands and albums to play and am at a concert about once a week. I would love to work with managing a band or an artist one day.
My personal style is definitely simplistic; I do not usually stray far from the chicness that is an all-black outfit. I am not boring though, and dress it up with some cool shoes or a bomb-looking jacket! I love pins, as well. If I follow a musician’s tour around with my friends, we have pins made from that tour to always wear around and remember the fun memories together. It’s a great conversation starter and makes my style unique.
Another way I show off my style is through my hair. As you can see through my pictures, I LOVE having crazy hair colors! I always keep them pastel and just rotate out the color. I have had shades of white, pink, purple and blue hair. It always gets me noticed and remembered, and I would consider my hair to be as much a part of my outfits as any piece of clothing is.
I am looking forward to this semester and all the cool and fashionable people I will find on campus. The weather is cold here but the fashion is cooler, and I cannot wait to share it with you all!
