Hi there! My name is Elizabeth Diehl and this marks my third and final (eek) semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. It is also my first semester as a Social Media Intern, so feel free to follow me @elizabeth_diehl!
I am a senior Marketing and Data Analytics major at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and am originally from just outside of the city. When I graduate, I hope to take my business background and apply it to the corporate side of the fashion industry, ideally as an analyst in consumer insights or customer relationship management.
In addition, I am a Marketing Intern at a consulting firm and the Vice President of the Fashion & Business Club of Temple University—the only organization at my university that connects students to fashion industry with speaker sessions, events, internship panels and so much more! The club is a huge passion of mine that allows me to have a connection to the world of fashion outside of my schoolwork.
Attempting to define my personal style has been something that I’ve been on the fence about for years. My wardrobe has always been a mix of eclectic pieces that inspire me and make me feel like my best self when wearing them. I firmly believe in appearance being the first impression you make on another person and a way to tell someone who you are without having to say a word.
As the winter is finally getting into full swing here in Philadelphia, I find myself wearing a lot of neutrals to blend in with my urban surroundings—long gray coats, short black booties and white pom-pom hats are a must have.
