Due to the fact that it’s that time to bundle up for this 19 degree weather, a thick wool coat could do us some justice. Loose coats are popular this season and they leave tons of space for layering underneath. Aside from the cute coat, this Fashionista wears a white collar under her black sweater. This idea of the collar under her sweater goes brilliantly with her smoky outfit because it reads as a young women’s interpretation of professionalism. Something that young college students find important to understand.
Her decision on wearing navy blue plants gives her attire balance because wearing the lighter color brings out the darkness from the rest of her outfit.
The final part of her look that caught my eye were the over-the-knee boots. This is another trend that’s been around for the past few months. Celebrities like Pia Mia, Zendaya and Selena Gomez have been strutting around the city with these kinds of boots on. The boots match her outfit perfectly because they complement the coat, sweater and style of her outfit. Wearing these kinds of boots are perfect for class because they have no heels which means walking to class would be comfortable. Also, there’s something about the wrap around the knee that draws people’s attention to your outfit, especially that hot football player.
