Most of us Fashionista/os never get taught to dress for the weather. We tell ourselves that “beauty is pain” and if we want to look flawless we have to ignore the frigid cold or the muggy heat. Like wearing cuffed jeans in the winter that don’t cover our ankles or wearing heels to the beach. You know who you are.
I’m here to tell you that where there is a will there is a way! Now, you know you check the weather before you pick an outfit for the day, whether it’s the morning of or the night before. Seemingly in Georgia, the temperature has remained a consistent 24 degrees which is rare considering our ambiguous weather patterns. Thankfully dressing warm and fashionable can be super easy and functional.
This Fashionista is the ideal muse for dressing cozy and comfortable while still looking absolutely adorable. I noticed her for my love of men’s coats but also for her uncomplicated pairing of a minimal palette. Turning an expensive looking coat into an ultra-casual accessory. Her black jeans and black turtleneck peak out perfectly from under her long gray coat. I especially love the longlined coat’s textured detail and notched collar. With just an oversized coat and simple outfit she’s created an instant casual chic look.
