February is the crossover month from winter into spring. That being said, it can be challenging deciding what is appropriate attire, especially with the varying temperatures throughout the month. This Fashionista’s outfit incorporates the perfect balance between winter and spring attire with her all black ensemble and her spring color coat to create an overall look perfect for February.
This Fashionista creates a chic polished all-black outfit including her Enza Costa turtleneck dress and black tights. Her Franco Sarto tall, black, leather boots give an edgier flair to the look, while her statement necklace from ASOS breaks up the outfit and highlights the simplicity of the dress.
My favorite element of this look is the Fashionista’s coat from Anthropologie by Moth on top. This light pink color makes the outfit very chic while adding a girly flair. Coats are a great investment, as they can be styled so many different ways and also provides you with warmth during the cold winter season. This coat is very versatile as it can be used for a night out, like this Fashionista does, with a turtleneck dress and leather boots, or you could easily dress it down with jeans and a blouse.
This year, Pantone announced one of its colors of the year as Rose Quartz. This Fashionista’s jacket makes it clear why this color was chosen. Its neutral tones are great for winter, yet its light pink undertones add a slight accent color great for spring.
