With Spring Break just around the corner, this Fashionista wanted to get a head start on her workout. If your school is anything like Illinois State, your student fitness center is probably packed from the time you return to school after winter break to the time everyone gets on their flights for spring break. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s easy to use the “gym is too crowded” excuse to get out of working out, but when you have a workout outfit that doubles as a going-to-class outfit, wearing it out is a must.
As busy college students, finding time to get a workout in can be a challenge. So this Fashionista wears her workout outfit to class so she can go in-between classes. She’s wearing a pair of gray Nike Free 5.0. Since they are neutral in color, they match everything. Black Nike workout pants are great for running or lounging in. For a pop of color she has on a purple tank top and over that a gray, sporty jacket to stay warm in for the walk to campus. Her hair is up in a quick, chic ponytail for when she takes a jog on the trail.
Wearing comfortable clothing doesn’t always mean looking like a bum. You can pull off the sporty girl look even if the most exercise you get that day is walking to your fridge for a snack.
What’s your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK “I like this outfit because it’s simple but cute, and something that can be worn to class and the gym without looking like a slob.”
