Microfiber is quickly gaining popularity in the fashion industry due to its durability and stain resistance. This synthetic material is known for holding its shape and wicking moisture away from the skin to keep you cool all day. All of these characteristics are necessary when living in a college town where you want your clothes to retain their shape and where drinks are easily spilled. I wasn’t really sure how I felt about microfiber clothing until I came across this posh student on his way to class in this gorgeous microfiber jacket.
Tallahassee definitely has its cold mornings where a thick jacket is hands down needed. This student said he wears this jacket to stay warm on his way to his 8:00 a.m. classes but then it keeps him cool when it gets a little toastier in the afternoon. I love how he paired this masculine, structured jacket with an all-black outfit. The jacket is from Zara and his joggers are from H&M. He threw on some Nike Roshes to be able to trek campus. He styled the jacket with an adidas hat, Coach bracelet and Tom Ford sunglasses. From going to class, an internship or brunch this jacket can do it all.
One Simple Change: If you live somewhere where it’s only cold at night, this jacket is still an amazing life saver. The microfiber is thick enough to make sure you stay warm all night long. It can be easily dressed down to wear to class or dressed up to go to dinner with your boo at night. I would steal this jacket and wear it with a black T-shirt dress and some black booties or over the knee boots for sure.
