Spring is slowly creeping up on us, the weather lately has been so up and down it makes it hard for a Fashionista to not only dress to the weather but still keeping it trendy and new. Spring trends are coming out and the biggest question is how to wear trends without letting them wear you.
While on campus I saw this Fashionista not letting the ups and downs of the weather get in her way of looking beyond chic. She keeps her overall look simple but still super trendy by using cuts and colors that are big right now. The army green T-shirt and black ripped skinny jeans meet current trends but without trying too hard and still maintains her personal style. The real pop in this outfit is the houndstooth print jacket with faux leather sleeves; this takes a simple look and makes it her own. The super cute tote bag adds such a fun element to her look without overdoing it or taking away from the outfit. It also shows that this Fashionista is ready for a tropical escape. With looks like this, it’s best to keep accessories simple and low key; she added a simple pair of tan booties which are also super trendy right now and a fun gold panel and chain fringe. By using simple but still trendy accessories, you are still meeting trends but maintaining your own style and not letting the trends wear you.
