Happy (almost) spring! To kick off this season, I highly recommend that you go to the store and buy yourself a nice pair of distressed denim jeans. Ripped jeans are perfect for spring because it’s still cool enough outside where you might not be able to wear shorts and it also gives your legs room to breathe. Distressed denim jeans can be versatile, depending on how many holes there are, the size of the rips and where on the jeans they are. So it could be fun experimenting with ripped jeans because not all distressed jeans have the same design.
What I’m finding really interesting is that skinny jeans are not as much of a trend anymore. I’m starting to see a lot of people on campus wear more loose fitting jeans. Something that I love about this Fashionista’s outfit is that they fit her body perfectly without looking too tight and uncomfortable, because let’s face it, wearing skinny jeans for too long can get pretty uncomfortable. It’s also pretty easy to make an outfit dressier or more casual when wearing distressed denim jeans. To make the look unique like this Fashionista, try adding a fedora hat. When it starts getting even warmer out, add a nice blouse and a nice pair of wedges.
