Yeezy season is upon us! For lack of a better term, adidas season is upon us. The rise of street style, street sneakers, street anything is currently booming and only getting better and better with brands like adidas, Vans, Supreme and many more keeping us on our toes. I am a personal fan of adidas Originals sneakers this spring and so is this Fashionisto! This sneaker is the “it” sneaker this spring season and has been for awhile now. The sneaker offers plenty of support and are in general extremely comfy. They feel like slippers to me walking around campus.
The most popular adidas Originals sneakers I have seen are adidas Superstar and adidas Stan Smith, which are named after the tennis superstar himself. This Fashionisto is rocking some Stan Smith’s with the green trim, and the straight black jeans really make the white pop. These iconic sneakers are perfect for any occasion and any season for that matter (just don’t rock them in the rain or snow.)
Another tasteful addition to this look is Supreme. Supreme is a men’s street style skate brand established in New York City circa 1994. You may be familiar with their logo, Supreme in white font in a red rectangle. I have seen this on many guys laptops as a sticker around campus and got curious about all of the buzz. Our Fashionisto is rocking a Supreme five panel hat with the iconic S. Supreme is a very sought after brand, so get ’em while their hot!
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “During the springtime season, I like to keep my look simple with a hat, oversized white shirt and a pair of sneakers since I’m always on the go!”
