STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: You're The Bomb(er)

Recently spring has sprung which has me feeling some type of way (the best type of way that is). When it starts to finally get warm again and I can shed that bulky coat in exchange for a cool jacket, that is when I start to get really excited. Spring is my favorite season, it’s not too warm yet so you can still wear interesting layers and whatnot without being all sweaty. It’s also not too cold to where I can’t feel my face and have forgotten what my hands feel like. Nice weather always puts me in the mood to experiment with my clothing, which is why this Fashionista’s clean, crisp look caught my eye.

Bomber jackets are the ultimate cool girl styling weapon. It can take a more basic look and elevate it to Gigi Hadid status in an instant, you become a super model just by putting one on practically. This sassy Fashionista’s crispy white bomber gives her that clean effortless edge, looking like she totally woke up like that (Cue queen Bey music). The jacket pops so well against the rest of her fabulous ensemble. With her frayed hem jeans, which are to die for, her snake skin booties, dainty jewelry and killer shades this Fashionista is ready to take on the day. This jacket totally elevates the look, the simplicity of it all is what makes it so great, you can focus so well on the little detailing of the outfit as a whole.

Keeping your look simple certainly doesn’t mean it has to be boring, this look just further proves that point. The best way to bring your look up another level is to add that bomber jacket, it’ll have you feeling sassier than Tom Cruise in Top Gun and looking more fabulous than your favorite super model. Look for a jacket with an interesting detail, like cool zippers, maybe a classic color or one with patches or embroidery on it. Pop that bad boy over your look and be ready to slay the day away.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: “For me, I approach my outfits with a less is more attitude. I think that working neutral pieces together and adding killer accessories and shoes speaks a lot more than something that looks like it belongs in a rave.”
