As we are in the midst of winter and halfway through spring semester, the motivation to get out of bed and get ready in the morning seems to fall more and more out of reach some days. But with these brisk temperatures comes a time to play with new trends. This Fashionista is playing with my favorite winter trend, turtlenecks.
Turtlenecks are a major trend right now, and they have a very classic and effortless look to them. I am such a fan of turtlenecks because of how versatile they are. This Fashionista demonstrates this casual turtleneck in a fabulous way.
On this chilly day, she started with her favorite pair of boots. These fur-lined boots are fun and cozy. The red laces add the perfect pop of color to any outfit, which is a great starting point for any outfit. Next, she added a classic pair of dark wash skinny jeans. A perfect pair of jeans is a staple piece in everyone’s wardrobe.
Now, on to my favorite part of her look. The black turtleneck sweater worked so nicely and effortlessly with her look, and ensured that she would be warm and fabulous in the frigid temperatures. Her dark red matte lip might come in a close second though; it does the perfect job of tying everything together. She finishes her look off with a gold necklace and a statement ring.
This Fashionista has inspired me to drag myself out of bed in the mornings so I can look as good as she does.
